Follow AR 750-1 and DA PAM 750-8, The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) and AR 385-10, the Army Safety program. Verifies that procedures being used are adequate for the effective control of quality, rejects defective Workmanship and materials. Verifies and certifies the test results on supporting documents. Provides guidance and technical assistance to shop maintenance personnel regarding inspection principles on workmanship, procedures to be employed, and quality of work expected. Ensures compliance with corporate and government regulations, company Work Instruction, SOP, Directives and Technical Manuals to establish and maintain a quality management program. Maintains cross-talk with (QA) and LAR representatives. Coordinates with Shop Supervisor when technical problems arise and in-depth mechanical knowledge is required.

My duties included:

Performs Acceptance initial, in-progress and final inspections on various types of military, commercial, and other forms of Utilities and Special Purpose equipment, Power-Generation equipment, Quartermaster and Chemical equipment, and Construction equipment.

Operate and inspect equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot defects.

Use technical manuals, bulletins and written directives in the performance of all inspections.

Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.

Order required repair parts using appropriate parts manuals.

Conducts Tests on Equipment that has been Serviced, Repaired and Overhauled to insure operating efficiency before returning to customer.

Perform ECOD and ECOR inspections and verify condition codes.

Must be capable of giving and receiving instructions to all of the work force in the Shops.

Ability to Inspect Check and Test all types of HVAC System being Work Ordered to the Shop

Perform testing and certification of equipment and material during Load Testing Process

Perform PDQR process when receiving improper or damaged repair parts.

Makes proper classification determinations as it pertains to U.S. Government property. Assists Shops as needed with Troubleshooting processes.

Uses proper Test Measurement and Diagnostics Equipment (TMDE) in the daily operations phase.

Test and troubleshoot all forms of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) Systems.

Conduct Tests on Serviced, Repaired and Overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency before returning to customer.

Understands the automotive repair shop equipment and functions in order to provide assistance and coverage whenever needed. Perform technical research and ensure operational readiness of assigned equipment. 15+ years’ experience performing maintenance services and overhaul of Combat Tactical Engineering, Power Generation and Ancillary Support equipment at the Mechanic or Inspector level.

Performed preventive maintenance and makes repairs and rebuilds for major assemblies on MRAP- Vehicle and heavy equipment vehicles.

Troubleshoot a range of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics, system and components.

Repaired work on suspensions, engines, transfers, transmissions, differentials, hydraulic systems, fuel and steering mechanisms and turbo charges.

Performed Fuel Tanker and Fuel Trailer maintenance like: Troubleshoot, repair and fuel leak test.

Responsible for Maintenance and Troubleshoot and Repairs, serviced, on Bulldozer D7G, Rollers, Scoop loader H100C, 175b scoop loader, 230 LCR John Deere, 240 John Deere HYEX, 330 LCR John Deere, 924H, 950 B, 960 B, H 100, M924 G,& Backhoe loader-CASE, CAT 420D, John Deere.
