• Diagnose breakdowns, determine best course of action in accordance with available manpower and production demands. Supply mechanics with proper parts and blueprints to make a successful repair.
• Schedule PM and standard/breakdown mechanical work, obtain quotes from outside contractors to perform specialty work during this time. Hold outsourcing meetings with union stewards when it was apparent that in-house manpower was unable to perform this specialized work.
• Facility/grounds, machine and grind shops, and truck room maintenance scheduling and management. Coordinate off-site services as needed by the facility.
• Perform on-site Stationary Engineer duties during my scheduled and unscheduled shifts.
