Fund Administrator • Back Office • Balondolozi Investment Service Responsibilities:
Fund Administration for twenty-six funds across all asset classes including Equities, Derivatives, Bonds and Money Market.
Responsible for running Morning Process including Iress pricing and daily valuation reports, rolling over of Funds.
Capturing, reporting by uploading all trade instructions on the custodial online platforms and matching of all trades for four Portfolio Managers including identifying any settlement funding requirements and following through to settlement. Liaison with all brokers and custodians regarding trade settlement.
Importing and settlement of all processed trades on inhouse system ensuring all Fund Balance sheets are cleared daily and all Daily clearing of all Funds Balance Sheets, daily cash and custody holdings reconciliation for all funds. Handle all cash and custody holdings queries with Custodians ensuring any variances are resolved. Capturing of all Safex movements daily. Schedule and run daily team meeting. New Fund onboarding, opening of new cash, custody and call accounts, responsible for instructing on all Portfolio Script and Account Transfers. Logging and capturing of all client contributions and withdrawals, issuing of confirmations to client and third parties like Sanlam and Prescient. Month end process including month end valuation and statutory reporting. Compile and submit Fund Audit information as and when required by Client or external Auditors.

Projects:
PIMS SAP Interfaces
Design and implement a process to assist in managing Pipeline Excavations, Integrity and Maintenance. Develop and implement an Interface between the Pipeline Integrity Management (PIMS) system module REHAB and SAP as well as between SAP and the PIMS CM- Expert module using XI as the middleware.
Configure the Plant Maintenance and Customer Service Modules to support the Excavation process, including the design and implementation of a new Object structure to enable maintenance and integrity management on the new Mozambique Pipe Line. Working in close relation with a team of SAP and PIMS experts from the Nederland’s to implement the interface.
MAM – Mobile assist management for Maintenance and Operations Department
Analyse current work management process; to identify the areas where mobile communication will be required via hand held devices, documented the business case and user requirements, completed SAP configuration for the prototype development which is currently being tested for role-out to the business.
SAP ECC6 Upgrade – PM, CS module
Develop transactional test scripts to evaluate system for changes and differences for all Manage Plant Equipment and Facilities processes, and to ensure integration between the PM, CS and other SAP modules. MZ88 – Sasol Gas Mozambique Deployment.
Configure SAP PM to accommodate the Mozambique maintenance and operational activities under their own company code and controlling area. Knowledge Acquired:
