Major Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for supervise the project Electrical works in conformance with engineering design and specification requirements Kahramaa, QCS and QCDD.

Responsible to provide all necessary site instructions coordinating with the Resident Engineer and act as Point of communication with client and contractor Related to the Electrical Systems.

Responsible for attending the Factory visits during the Equipment/ Switchgear Panel assembly and FAT.

Inspection of high voltage Cable route and Cable installations in the project.

Preparation and Review of Design documents (Specifications, Electrical Load Summary, Cable list, SLD, BMS I/O List, Earthing Layout, Electrical Equipment Layout, Substation Equipment Layout, Cable routing Layout, Cable tray Layout, cable tray sections, Plant lighting, Bus duct layout, and material submittals)

Responsible for the KahraMaa Substation Supervision, Authority inspection and commissioning coordination.

Verify and validate the certificates and approvals for the contractor materials (Lighting, small power, Bus ducts, Motors/ control panels, ELV, Security and Fire alarm, Earthing and Lighting Protection)

Responsible to review and reply for the contractor’s RFIs and proposals.

Supervise and lead the electrical activities during various stages of projects, from Installation to Handing over.

Review and approve the submission documents from the contractor, Specialists, Commissioning agents, and manufacturers. (Shop drawings, materials, close out documents, etc.)

Carry out the inspections for the installations and material delivered in the site and monitor the quality and progress of the project Ensuring identification, review & correction of non-conforming products

Verify the Calibration certificates and validity for the testing / Measuring Equipments prior the commencement of the test.

Coordinate work permit system for installation testing and commissioning of Cables, LCS, motor and Electrical switch board and lead the activities to ensure planned schedule followed properly.
