Prepare and present monthly management accounts: statement of P or L, statement of financial position and statement of cash flow.

Prepare monthly financial forecast for the all the base activities.

Prepare annual budget and quarterly variance analysis based on the budget.

Set up, improve and maintain both financial and administrative controls.

Supervise four other accountants.

Supervise and ensure that all transactions are codded on the SAP.

Supervise periodic inventory count/physical verification of equipment, tools and other assets at the main base facility in Sapele and other operational locations around the Niger-Delta.

Review all financial documents such as: vouchers, expense reports forms, cash advance forms, LPOs etc. to ensure completeness and accuracy of information and figures.

Prompt monthly preparation and remittance of all statutory deductions such as: PAYE, WHT, Development levy (annually), and other statutory dues payable to the government.

Report to as well as advice the Chief Finance Officer (CFO), on financial related matters for the entire region.

Supervise and sign off monthly cash count exercise on the first working day of every new month.

Work with both the internal auditors and the external auditors (Ernst and young) in carrying out regular and periodic audit functions respectively.

Prepared all emoluments (both monthly and otherwise) for about 150 personnel on the project.

Managed the payroll and carried out prompt deductions and remittances accruing to the government such as PAYE, WHT and VAT.

Was a member of the procurement committee for all major procurements for the project?
