ASSISTANT MANAGER – (2013- 2016) Fixed Income Derivative & Equity settlements:

Handled 8-member team in Post trade services and extended operational support to middle and front office desks in a financial service.

Responsibilities:

Management reporting: Leading process initiatives and enhancements for settlements process and active participation in industry standard organizations along with Regulatory and other MIS reporting’s.

Ensure Client Money segregation and reporting done as per FCA guidelines.

· Liaising with the desk, Sales team, Trade support, Confirmations and other departments

· Manage and effectively resolve all incoming settlement queries from assigned client

group within a pre-agreed time frame by appropriate escalation to management when required.

· Investigate and resolve Post Settlement breaks (Cash /Nostro, Fails and DCC breaks) within

agreed timelines.

· Pre-confirmation and Settlement of Credit Derivatives, Interest rates, Equity Swap, Vars and

Vols swaps transactions eligible on DTCC platform.

· Pre-confirmation and settlement of cash flows through CLS and CFM via DTCC.

· Ensure Client money report has been sent for FCA reporting.

· Sending cut off (Currency deadline) report of High value cash settlements to the treasury/Funding team on daily basis involving greater risk exposure to the firm.

· Sending daily MIS reports on their positions of trades.

· Worked and managed SIT/ UAT offshore and onsite.
