I started out as a line worker at mainly fruit factory but we processed asparagus along with apples,cherries,prunes, and plums. I then got my forklift license for the company worked as fill in for other forklift operators. I also was a palletizer I worked at the end of the process just before the product got stored for shipping. I then moved into Sanitation at a different facility during the summers to do Sanitation during cherries and a bit of asparagus. We came in at 9pm and worked till 7am and cleaned the hole factory from the tanks through the sorters, de pitters or through the canners to the cookers to the labeling area. It was the main reason I got certified to operate forklift because there was only a few of us cleaning the huge facility with many many areas that had to be cleaned properly. Education
