PROJECTS
M. Tech Project: Numerical investigation on tube fin heat exchanger with vortex generator. The project was to enhance the heat transfer rate of tube fin heat exchanger using vortex generator. The effect of vortex generator on different parameters such as pressure, velocity etc. is evaluated. The 3D numerical work is carried out for different widths of vortex generator. The width of vortex generator is varied according to the fin pitch. Also, the effect of punching different number of holes on vortex generator is evaluated. B. Tech project: Semi-automation in sugarcane plantation. The project is to design a mechanism for semi-automation at the time of land preparation for plantation and modify the conventional method of sugarcane plantation. The main objective of project is to reduce the requirement of man power and overall cost of plantation.
