As an experienced psychologist, I would like to use my skills and immense knowledge to solve various psychological problems of the patients (Pediatric and geriatric population). To obtain a challenging position in the field of psychology that would enable me to contribute to an organization by utilizing my clinical and educational experience in diagnosing, counseling and providing support to patients who are going through emotional, intra-and inter-personal, and psychological struggles.

My roles and responsibilities include:

o Providing assistance to clinical psychologist in diagnosing the problem. o Taking therapy sessions of special need children. o Providing individual and group sessions to cater the needs of special need children o Making progress report of children for the parents to gain better understanding of their achieved and not achieved goals.

o Referred clients to other specialists or support services as necessary. o Counseled individuals, groups or families to help understand problems, deal with crisis situations and develop realistic action plans.

o Wrote reports on clients and maintained required paperwork. o Identified issues, analyzed information and provided solutions to problems

• Worked as a Psychologist (Full-Time) at Speechify, Najafgarh, Delhi (1st April 2020- 10th November)

My roles and responsibilities were:

o Taking online counseling sessions of Anxiety, Depression, Sleep deprivation, Job dissatisfaction etc.

o Providing therapy sessions of behavior modification to special need children. o Counsel parents of special need children on daily basis. o Identify the problem and set goals accordingly

o Provide assistance to clinical psychologist in diagnosing the problem. o Explain diagnosis to the parents and counsel them regarding the same. o Discussing case with other health professionals like occupational therapist, Audiologist and Speech Pathologist and Special Educator to enhance knowledge on the case o Provide individual and group therapy sessions. Taking approximately 7-8 therapy sessions a day. o Counseling sessions to different age group children. o Provide counseling to parents of special need children on daily basis.

• Currently affiliated with Sahyog Welfare Society (NGO) as Senior Vice President of ladies Wings, Kamla Nagar, Delhi (September 2014-Present).

o Organizing and conducting workshops to cater the needs of the school students and teachers. Topics like “Good Touch and Bad Touch”, “Stress Management”, “Hormonal Changes” and “Protection of children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act). o Managing and updating all social sites regarding the upcoming events. o Selecting and preparing volunteers for conducting workshops. o Organizing many camps for the welfare of the society (Free Health checkup camp, blood donation camp).

o Gave a speech on the importance of teaching children the meaning of “Good touch and Bad touch” at “Bache Mann Ke Sache-Ek Anokhi Pathshala” program organized by Delhi ka Pratibimbh and Delhi Police.
