Worked as an IT officer at the Broad Hurst Magistrate Court for a period of 3 months and this was during my industrial attachment which started on the 20th February 2017 and ended on the 19th May 2017. During I was responsible for mainly the following:

Tests, installs, and maintains computer and IT system

Installing and configuring hardware and software.

Provide and setup computer for new staff and solving staff problems with usage of IT equipment.

Deal with telephone and photocopier problems or report the problems to the appropriate service office.

Virus detection, removal and prevention for all systems in the bureau. Keep virus detection and removal software facilities up to date

Maintain the internet and ensure internet access from all stations on the network.

Set up e-mail accounts for staff as needed.

Maintain inventory list of all computers and related equipment in consultation with other administration unit.

Assist users with IT-related problems and tasks as required
