TITLE:

A LOW DEGREE OF FREEDOM BASED PROSTHETIC HAND WITH HIGH

GRASPING ABILITY FOR PARTIAL HAND PEOPLE

DESCRIPTION:

In designing the prosthetic hand using flex sensor, the results obtained from the design is quite reliable and accurate. The hand glove, which is used to control the prosthetic hand is normal glove fitted with flex sensors along the length of each finger. The flex sensors output a stream of data that varies with degree of bend, the output from flex sensor is analog values, it is converted to digital and processed by using controller and then it will be used to control servo motor. This prosthetic hand does not required skilled operator while use. It is user friendly interference. This will be also useful for hazardous situation with remote distance.
