Project Title: A systematic analysis of Densification, Microstructure and Microhardness of 3D printed Al – 50%Si alloy. Description: This work aims to study the 3D printed Al - 50%Si alloy. 3d printing is an alternative manufacturing technique to conventional manufacturing techniques. In this work, the new manufacturing technique SLM (Selective Laser Melting) is applied to manufacture the Al – 50%Si alloy. The effect of process parameters such as laser power, scan speed, and hatch distance on the Densification of the components are systematically studied and developed a prediction model of Decision tree regression followed by The Microstructural and Microhardness of the components are systematically investigated.
