DR CLAIRE GEEL– GEOLOGIST
Bio: My expertise are in sedimentology, petrophysics and geochemistry and I have extensive laboratory and field work experience. I have been involved in oil and gas research and exploration in Southern Africa since 2010, having completed both my M.Sc. and Ph.D. on unconventional shale gas research in South Africa. I have also be awarded internships with energy majors, Shell and TotalEnergies. Many of the skills I have acquired are transferable to other fields of exploration. I am a fast learner, who is motivated by a challenge and eager to excel.
