As a professional with over two decades of experience across the consulting and compliance services space and having worked as a Controller of the India operations of a reputed Canadian company, I am uniquely positioned to manage the finance and tax matters of a company. As head of tax and finance function for India Project Office of Q’Max Solutions Inc., a company incorporated in Canada and engaged in drilling fluids supply and management services, used to directly report to Country Manager in India with a dotted line reporting to group CFO in Canada. My responsibilities included preparation of budgets, representing India in annual global meetings, preparation of financial bids, tax and regulatory compliances for India Project Office, litigation management, obtaining lower withholding orders from tax authorities and leading the team of finance and tax function.
