Summary

I graduated High school in 2012 and I have been working ever since. I started working at Gordon Food Service Store in December 2014 and left August 2016. It is my only retail job to date, but I did enjoy the job and helping people while working there. I have worked in a few other team- based jobs one of which is where I am currently working full time as an apprentice machinist. I am well versed in getting along and working with other people to achieve a job well done. When I am not working on machine shop work they often have me doing maintenance work. Employment History

Associate/Stocker

Gordon Food Service Store • Tallmadge, Ohio

I was a Store Associate and Stocker for GFS my duties during my shift ranged from the following

1. Greeting every customer that entered the store or we walked past and asking if there was anything I could help them with.

2. I was mainly a dry stocker so I was in the aisles putting the products on shelves correctly. I had to rotate the older products to the front while putting the new sale by dates in the back. I also had to make sure the product's label was facing forward and all neatly lined up with the beginning of the shelf. 3. I was on call for a couple of jobs other than stocking which includes answering phone calls, ordering items/food products on the PC for customers, assisting customers with pick up orders (food/restaurant supplies), and very rarely if we got busy I could be a cashier.

4. After we closed the store we had to clean up the store and get it ready for the next day. We had to sweep and mop floors, clean bathrooms, and walk the aisle making sure all the products on the shelf are pulled forward and facing the correct way.
