SUMMARY

I worked on a project with a team of Application Developers to rewrite an overly complex system that interfaced with number of other systems. I wrote SQL Server scripts which include stored procedures, schemas, tables, indexing, functions, and triggers. I also created SQL Jobs and PowerShell scripts, database backups, database restore and performing all other Database Administration duties. I also maintain documentation for flowcharts, data dictionary and contingency plan.

I have 8 years of experience as a Software Support Specialist/ Database Administrator in a medical practice consisting of 37 doctors. I have experience working with Billing System, EHS systems and various other systems. I was responsible for creating procedure and policy for dataflow between internal systems and external systems. I have experience in creating an HL7 message interfaces as well as creating and importing data through xml files. I have experience with creating Financial Reports and Validation Reports for integrity check. I setup up an ETL server for more reporting and to generate patience’s charts in case of a power outage.

As the only IT person for a small company, I was responsible for every function of an IT Department. I ran cables from jack to the panel in order to save the company money. For my classes, I created training material for the end-users.

I performed Administrative duties for the Novell Network which included: setup of user’s accounts, user’s network storage, and network printers. I purchased all equipment and strategically planned the location of all shared devices.

I have excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills which promoted me to being a Tech lead. As a tech lead, I gained the respect of my team and end-users. I taught my techs the importance’s of having/maintaining a good rapport with all the end-users.
