I am a motivated medical professional with a passion for creative problem-solving. Medical Programs Instructor

Oxnard Adult School/Oxnard Union High School District (2017-2019)

Worked directly with at-risk population groups within Ventura County. Responsible for administration, content development and instruction of the Adult Education Medical Assisting Program. Taught hybrid classes (online and in class) for the following courses: Medical Terminology, Medical Assisting (Admin), Medical Billing, and Medical Internship. All four courses were required to complete the certification of the medical assisting program which qualified students to take state or national certification exams. Performed a wide range of responsibilities including teaching American Heart Association CPR (BLS), developing curriculum and PowerPoint presentations for each hybrid class, creating classes in Canvas (A web-based learning management system), grading student work, designing labs to help students understand anatomy/physiology terminology for the various systems of the human body in a hands-on way. Responsible for administration of a sub-specialty Independent Physician’s Association.
