●At this job, I watched a little girl (5) and a boy (7) from 7AM - 4PM every day, Monday through Friday. This job required me to assume responsibility for two small children and taught me to schedule my time correctly. I worked around a variety of people and learned that flexibility is a person’s greatest tool. I worked hard to ensure that the kids were happy and comfortable, much the same as I would do for a customer. Children are the most difficult humans to handle, so I would say that I have become adept at staying calm and reasonable in the face of a displeased person, as I can imagine happens occasionally at any other job.

●At this job, I was a barista/supervisor and was in charge of greeting customers and ensuring they were satisfied with their experience in our store. Staying clean and organized were an essential part of this job, as it was food-service oriented. It was essential to follow directions and listen carefully in this job, otherwise customers ended up with the incorrect orders. Communicating clearly with the owners and managers of the store were also an integral part of the job, as often time sensitive information was being relayed.

●At this job, I am a medical receptionist. I work on verifying insurance, taking patient calls, and scheduling with different doctors. I learned quickly at this job and have worked through the changing rules of the clinic amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. I was promoted within the company in less than a year and have been recognized for natural leadership and efficiency. My coworkers often look to me for guidance and solutions to unique problems.
