ASSISTANT CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR, ORION MARINE GROUP Duties: Accountable for providing contracting and project support to Orion Marine Construction. This includes developing bid packages, provide support for project costs, submittal for materials and services, reviewing project plans and specifications, providing schedule for project work activities, and helping to ensure successful project completion and close out documents. Performed secretarial duties answered phones and assisted callers, sorted and distributed mail, any documents that needed to be typed, filing of completed paperwork, copying and faxing documents. Entered and updated citations, small claims, and justice case information into computer system. Accounts receivable: payment necessary for the courts; managed P.O.'s, monthly reports, monthly state reports, inquest paperwork, weekly deposits, annual audits conducted by the treasurer’s office. I set court date for evictions, small claims, Justice Courts, criminal citations, trials and assist with weddings. Truancy Clerk/Juvenile Case Manager: Managed all paperwork for court on cases that are filed for the Parent Contributing or Truancy Conduct. Interacted with CCISD, parents, students and the state office.

Duties: Submitted and reviewed Medicare claims to make sure that billing requirements are met, updated accounts as necessary, answered inquiries, and made recommendations for resolution. Entered the Medicare EOB’s into patient accounts and had to be sure that the patient responsibility balances were correct.
