‘Excel With Erin!’ Tutoring and Childcare; Owner/Operator
Rochester, NY
(August 2020-Present)
Excel With Erin! is an educational initiative that I developed and executed myself when I observed an increased need for assistance within my community in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a holistic, flexible program that tailors to the individual needs of each family, and includes childcare, tutoring, facilitating remote learning, mentorship, and teen workforce development workshops. As the creator and sole operative of the program, I have learned and employed new skills such as branding/adverting, website creation, social media marketing, and QuickBooks. The program has grown and evolved to also include accessible drop-in tutoring sessions within the community and emergency childcare on weekends.
