Deputy Inspector General, May 2016 – Present

Serves as the Director of Command Evaluation and Review to ensure management and requirements are met to evaluate internal controls and financial aspects of operations, compliance, applicable laws, economy, and efficiency of operations and effectiveness.

Develop annual evaluations and review plans, conduct reviews, monitor the Commanding Office Suggestion Box, and investigates the command’s Hotline.

Establishes biweekly meetings with the Commanding Officer and Chief of Staff, that is formalized to discuss statuses of NAVSEA Inspector General Inspection (IG) Cards, current metrics/CE Reviews, Audits, hot lines, and Command Directed Investigations.

Key liaison for all inspection details to include pre-inspection preparations, inspection process Executive and Command in-briefs, focus group coordination, day-to-day updates with the Commanding Officer and Executive, and Command Out-briefs.

Led the planning and logistics of five Inspector General and Contract Fraud Focus Groups for over 80 personnel; which helped the team better understand the climate and contract functions of the command.

Coordinates with Compliance Leaders to ensure timely closure of corrective actions and thorough Root Cause Analysis on systemic findings within the Command.

Program Manager and Master Inspector General for assessing the efficiency, effectiveness and readiness of 64 commands and executive teams for the Inspector General (IG) of all Navy Information Dominance Forces (NAVIDFOR) globally.

Provided independent oversight, analysis, and performance assessment of all NAVIDFOR commands and coordinated all internal and external audits and reviews.

Managed the NAVIDFOR Headquarters and Force Hotline Complaint Program and provided leadership to a team of 30 inspectors during the Inspector General and command Readiness Inspections.

Conducted in-depth investigations of wrongful action claims involving fraud, waste, mismanagement, harassment, and abuse of authority as the key investigator and compliance officer.
