JOB OBJECTIVE:

Project Engineer

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Mechanical Engineer with 32 years of experience in various types of mechanical equipment including pressure vessel (reactors, drum, column and internals), heat exchanger,pump, fire heater,boilers, shop/field fabricated tank, low temperature LNG tank package & other skid package equipment and piping design package..

Extensive knowledge of mechanical and thermal design of pressure vessel, shell and tube, plate and frame, welded, spiral heat exchangers, air coolers, aluminum brazed heat exchangers, tanks, pump skid package equipment and piping, some fired heaters and HRSG,.

Ability to perform mechanical calculation, safety/risk/fitness for service assessments for fixed equipment, relief system and rotating equipment.

More than 15 years working experience as a lead mechanical engineer/Principal Project Engineer/construction engineering lead.

Experience in field engineering, support of project management team on technical issues as well as in Planning, Estimating and Progressing status for completion of engineering deliverables

Supervising and leading a team in carrying out detailed engineering/project execution work for this project, developing budget cost, man-hour estimation and project schedules.

Involved in various Refinery, Upgrader, SAGD, Chemical, Petrochemical, LNG and Gas Processing and Utility, oil and gas pipeline projects.

Knowledge in the operation, troubleshooting, repair of: pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, piping, valves, pressure relief devices, welding, risk based inspection, fitness for service, inspection and NDE practices and techniques.

Possess a strong working knowledge of ASME Sect VIII Div1 and Div 2, TEMA R, API 560,API 650, API 610, API620,API 625,API 660, API 661,API 510/570/653/579, ANSI, ASME B31.1/B31.3, NFPA 59A, 40 CFR 193 ASTM, DEP, Aramco Engineering Standard (SAES/SAEP/SAMSS),PIP,NACE etc.

Experience with estimation of fired heaters or other similar custom-engineered heat transfer equipment using bills of material from datasheet & drawings for skids, modules, piping, valves, equipment etc.

Proficiency in using COMPRESS & PV-ELITE, HTRI, NozzlePro and API-TANK programs for Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers and Atmospheric Tanks design and other computer software AutoCad, MS Office, powerpoint etc.

Wide range of PMC and EPC experience with the engineering design/project management/construction of various equipment for large refinery project, larger petrochemical project and oil and gas industry such as Ethylene cracking, LNG, RFCC, Reformer, Hydrotreating, PX, PTA, Delayed Coker, Sulfur Recovery, Acid Water Treating, Oil and Natural Gas Processing, Oil Sand Upgrader project, SAGD CPF and refinery revamp project.

Senior Mechanical Project/ Reliability Engineer

Turn around project execution and engineering for Crude & Coker, HDS, SRU refinery capital & expense project in refinery

Developed and/or approves stationary equipment repair plans, rerates, & modifications related to expense and capital projects in their area.
