I provide security and protection of air travelers by operating many different types of equipment to provide complete security. I personally perform screening of passengers bags and passengers themselves. I am able to maintain focus and awareness of mine and my coworkers surroundings even in the loud environment of our workplace. I have experience in providing the freedom of movement for the people who come through the airport by performing security measures to ensure that people and property gets properly screened before entering the sterile area. This may include giving passengers (of the same sex) pat downs, performing additional screening on bags, and reviewing tickets and valid forms of ID, and even using a X-ray to prevent any threats from entering an aircraft. I am able to efficiently move and lift baggage that weighs up to 70 pounds on a regular basis throughout the shifts. I am also able to comfortably capable of standing 3-4 hours at a time, or even more. I analyze multiple different solutions in a timely manner to best be able to screen a person or property by weighing the pros and cons to most sufficiently resolve the problem at hand. While performing my screening procedures, passengers may try to socially engineer me; I am able to remain focused through the entirety of the screening and distinguish between relevant and irrelevant information they may be offering me. I’m always available for overtime seeing that we are Emergency Essential position. I am very flexible when it comes to shifts, so I could almost work any shift. I also occasionally help with mentoring other officers and answering any questions they may have. Also, the supervisors and other leads have entrusted me in being the acting lead occasionally over the past few months since I have certified. While being the acting lead I am in charge of identifying, distributing, and balancing work load and tasks among employees for their rotations in accordance with established workflow and skill level every 30 minutes. On September 29, 2020 I received a prestigious award for catching a head quarters red team test. “The Office of Inspection, Special Division, Red Team Unit Crest”., which states “This signifies that I was recognized for having performed with distinction and vigilance during an OOI Red Team Test”

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, XSPORT FITNESS; WOODBRIDGE, VA — 2017-2018

Also, at this job I was in training to become the OM (Operations Manager) at a larger location in Fairfax. In being the acting OM I would be responsible for helping the General Manager file papers, do RAMS, and help the other staff around the gym. I was being shown how to send in orders of all of the products we needed to keep the gym up and running and always receiving an influx in profits. On days we had events I would come in very early and set the gym up and create it based off of our monthly theme. While I was in the the GM and AGM were out, I would handle all of the resolution of simple and informal complaints of customers who came through our doors.
