Completions and Well Interventions Engineer:

Strong technical knowledge, focused on HSSE, understanding of different cultures and experience within Operator and within Service Company environment. A team player with a unique combination of experience and teaching skills, including preparation of business cases for cost reduction and continuous improvement. Design and implementation of QA/QC systems, specifically applied to downhole and well testing equipment inspection and installation, make up check lists, lessons learned and best practices.

A hand on experience on well design, planning, contracting, logistics, development and execution of drilling, completion, well intervention and well testing operations. Expert engineer, with 25 years of uninterrupted experience in well engineering; completion and intervention. Experience in Canada, USA, Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina and Qatar.

Main Competencies:

Preparation of risk assessment and management, application of barrier policies and process safety. Contractor HSSE management. Design and implementation of HSSE cases.

Building programs and coordination of operations for completions and well interventions, including workovers, well suspension, well abandonment (following regulations of the AER in Canada) and Well Testing

Project Management, Operator and Service Companies coordination. Management of CWOP, DWOP, AAR (after action review) sessions, involving different disciplines.

Advanced well design (vertical and horizontal) taking into account drilling, completion and well intervention considerations, strong knowledge of new technologies and integrated implementation:

Safety factors analysis.

Design of completion systems, liner hanger systems, packer systems (including envelopes analysis), flow control systems, subsurface and surface safety systems. Solid training and experience on down-hole tools, including wellhead and Christmas tree
