After finishing Conceptual study and Basic design phase of Odoptu (part of Sakhalin project) by our team, project moved to detail design phase. Sakhalin Island is located at the east of Russia. New oil, Gas and water injection wells, manifolds, production pipeline, Gas/water injection pipelines, slug catcher, testing facilities, Gas compression system, TEG Gas dehydration unit, waste water treatment, water injection, Gas injection compression, Gas lift and new utilities are adding to the existing system as part of project in North well site and South well site. Oil production rate is 55 kbpd and Gas production is 220 mmscfd. I was overall process supervisor for design and engineering of process units on this project, responsible for simulation PFD and P&ID development of all plant and meanwhile responsible for process engineering and design of Gas dehydration and regeneration unit.
Recognition award received for saving 2.8 MM$ of project cost by presenting an idea on arrangement of process equipment after simulation of plant (Aspen Hysys) and therefore deletion of few vessels.
