Owner/Director
Hired and trained staff; payroll; taught; community/political involvement; taught, etc. College Assist was run as an alternative to high school programs in the area. We focused on dealing with teen-aged professionals: actors, athletes and particularly equestrians U.S. Olympic Team) and polo players. We designed programs for these students for whom traditional schooling was not practical. Regular schools would forward lesson plans and/or areas of study and our teachers would see to it that the material was covered. The students returned to their schools back home completely in synch with their classmates. (However, in most cases, they scored higher on their exams than their classmates despite their extended periods of absence.)
