Personal Profile

AEROSPACE ENGINEER

FRESH GRADUATE

Engineering and Core Skills:

Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering

WICHITA STATE UNIVERSITY

- Focused in propulsion and aerodynamics.

- Emphasis on R&D, modeling, testing, simulation and manufacturing

- Minor in Mathematics

- Fall 2018- Spring 2021

Education

- Design and built a low wing loading indoor fixed wing micro-flyer that is capable of carrying 50% of its own weight in payload together with a team.

- I am the aerodynamics lead, manufacturing lead, the analysist and simulation lead for the project, I also assisted in the modelling process of the aircraft.

- I performed various analytical skills such as sensitivity analysis to optimize the aerodynamic performance of the aircraft.

- Successfully managed to reduce dry weight by a significant amount due to application of manufacturing skills.

- Ensured the aircraft is aerodynamically sound by using textbook methods and various software application

Project Experiences

- Utilized MATLAB to design, code and model an attitude controller for a nano-UAV by implementing a PID control system.

- Euler Angles and rotation matrices were utilized for the PID controller to govern basic motion of the UAV.

- Utilized MATLAB to accurately model the UAV by implementing proper coordinate configuration and dynamics

- Utilized MATLAB to successfully simulate the PID controller and the nano-UAV through a series of complex maneuvers.

Language Skills:

SENIOR DESIGN BRONZE PROPELLOR INDOOR MICROFLYER Aug 2020-May 2021 NANO-UAV CONTROL SYSTEMS RESEARCH & DESIGN Jan 2020-May 2020

- Did a market research/survey on components that would be installed on the nanosatellite while closely monitoring the weight. and cost to best fit the mission objective.

- Utilized CATIA V5 to model the nanosatellite with high detail including attitude controller boards, ion thrusters, solar panel and the frame structure

- Utilized mathematical equations modelling techniques to calculate center of mass, moment of inertia, principal moment of inertia and principal axes in order to optimize various configuration.

- Contributed towards the selection of the propulsion unit for the nanosatellite with consideration of the weight and configuration.

NANOSATELLITE DESIGN, MODELLING & SIMULATION Aug 2019-Dec 2019 AIRBUS WINGBOX COMPETITION (FIRST PLACE) Aug 2019-Dec 2019

- utilized concepts such as solid mechanics, yield mechanics, and other structural analytical methods to design the best performing wingbox.

- lead a team of 4 in applying industry skills and manufacturing techniques during the manufacturing process of the wingbox with high precision with a small margin of error which resulted in the lightest wingbox in the competition.

- performed structural failure load testing such as destructive testing on the wingbox and other structural analysis test necessary and obtained first place in the competition. UNDERGRADUTE RESEARCH ASSISTANT Mar 2019-Aug 2019
