Personal Profile
AEROSPACE ENGINEER
FRESH GRADUATE
Engineering and Core Skills:
Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering
WICHITA STATE UNIVERSITY
- Focused in propulsion and aerodynamics.
- Emphasis on R&D, modeling, testing, simulation and manufacturing
- Minor in Mathematics
- Fall 2018- Spring 2021
Education
- Design and built a low wing loading indoor fixed wing micro-flyer that is capable of carrying 50% of its own weight in payload together with a team.
- I am the aerodynamics lead, manufacturing lead, the analysist and simulation lead for the project, I also assisted in the modelling process of the aircraft.
- I performed various analytical skills such as sensitivity analysis to optimize the aerodynamic performance of the aircraft.
- Successfully managed to reduce dry weight by a significant amount due to application of manufacturing skills.
- Ensured the aircraft is aerodynamically sound by using textbook methods and various software application
Project Experiences
- Utilized MATLAB to design, code and model an attitude controller for a nano-UAV by implementing a PID control system.
- Euler Angles and rotation matrices were utilized for the PID controller to govern basic motion of the UAV.
- Utilized MATLAB to accurately model the UAV by implementing proper coordinate configuration and dynamics
- Utilized MATLAB to successfully simulate the PID controller and the nano-UAV through a series of complex maneuvers.
