June 2009-May 2015

Responsible for development and execution of marketing, advertising, broadcasting and brand strategy that saw significant increases in digital traffic, sponsorship sales, television ratings, fan engagement and experiential marketing.

Pioneered the development of a full-service in-house agency team Rams Broadcasting Network. RBN was a leader in innovative digital content for sports and brought national attention to the Rams’ brand through awards for production. Over a three year period, RBN was nominated for 60 Emmy Awards with 21 wins. Digital content was consistently ranked in the Top 5 in the NFL for website engagement.

Developed strategic marketing strategies and programs to be sold to and leveraged by consumer companies across digital, television, radio and in-stadium. Partners included Anheuser-Busch, Edward Jones and Purina.

Executive Director for all Rams television and radio programming as well as preseason games broadcast in 9 states and 13 outer markets.

Managed a budget of over $2 million annually.

Led the charge to bring the Rams television and radio rights in-house including preseason broadcasts, 3 weekly television shows and 4 weekly radio programs.

Directed fan experience at all home games and events with a production crew of over 50 people.

Engineered the conversion from standard definition to high definition in-stadium with video boards and LED signage.

Created the Rams’ first mascot program by utilizing grass roots marketing efforts with a “Name the Ram” contest and won a national award for the results, “Best Use of Mascot in Marketing.”

Led marketing and broadcast initiatives that helped to achieve record increases in attendance, television ratings, merchandise sales, ticket sales, and web traffic and included the relaunch of the Capitals brand identity, logos and uniforms.

Planned, executed and directed all live events, game day presentation and fan experience initiatives.

Engineered and produced the Capitals’ first weekly television show, “Capitals Red Line” that transcended how content was produced, sold and distributed on television, digital and in-arena.

Headed production team of 8 people who earned awards in marketing for “Best Opening Video” and “Best In-Game Feature” for all professional sports.

Implemented the conversion from standard definition to high definition in-arena on video board and LED signage.

Managed a budget of over $835,000 for broadcast elements.

Worked with sponsorship team to create inventory, pitch ideas to clients and execute elements.
