Job Title: Director of Economic Development

The Director of Economic Development, Economic Recovery and Development Sector (ERD), is responsible for providing coordination and support to the livelihoods team as well as developing strategies for implementing the program in the Middle East region. I lead the projects team in planning, designing, implementing, overseeing potential expansion / development and managing livelihood activities and interventions. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the company- led Livelihood Resource Center and the Distributed Livelihood Resource Center. Overseeing specialist monitoring and evaluation with eight years of experience Tracking and Reporting Specialist. In managing the development of performance measures. Main Responsibilities:

1- I worked as Director of Economic Development by driving economic growth in our economy, creating high-wage jobs and facilitating improvement in the quality of life, and played the first six reasons that make economic development a decisive role in the economy of the (Middle East) region.

2-High-quality technical leadership and supervision of the program, including prioritizing training opportunities for program teams

3-Identifying and establishing key partnerships for vocational training and the private sector for vocational training and employment.

4-Coordinating the team to achieve the main outputs and results of the ERD project. 5-Support from ERD Coordinator, I have prepared spending plans, procurement plans and business plans for the project to ensure that project implementation continues on the right track while maintaining quality.

6-The development of the strategic plans of the livelihoods project, the annual and quarterly work plans, and the general management of the program in line with the directives of the donors to achieve the set goals.

7-Leading program management, operations, implementation and financial management to ensure that financial activity complies with budget allocations, internal policies and donor regulations. 8-Provide effective coordination between project partners, local government and authorities, community and private sector partners, international NGOs, community-based organizations and other key partners.

9-Work with the monitoring and evaluation team to develop robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, program monitoring tools and effective systems to ensure high-quality implementation.

10- Work with the grant team to ensure compliance with regulations, grant procedures, and WHO guidelines for donors and partners, including reporting. 11- Representing the organization in meetings involving key partners and stakeholders, and maintaining positive relationships with government, local authorities and the organization's management team, wherever he is authorized.

12- Establish effective communication and coordination with other technical leaders and staff from all other departments.

13- Supervising the organization of quarterly field monitoring visits, documenting methodologies and sharing them with partners and with management to replicate them. 14- Worked to improve the monitoring and evaluation mechanisms of the ERD program, to ensure that ERD teams in the field effectively monitor the identified indicators and develop the interests of the target communities.

15- In coordination with the DDP, I have developed and maintained effective working - relationships with key stakeholders in West Asia, including donors, government agencies, UN agencies, international and local NGOs, and other relevant actors. 2

16- Work closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation Section and the Technical Coordinators for Health, Nutrition, Protection, Protection and Empowerment of Women to propose complementarity wherever possible and implement initiatives to improve the overall quality of food security, livelihoods and monitoring activities. 17- Coordination and participation in setting budgets for program proposals, in conjunction with the Grants and Finance Departments.

18- Coordination of community mobilization and community awareness of livelihood activities within the framework of the project.

Support research activities affecting the project: 1-Identify all major risks related to the program and deal with them effectively, including compliance with donor transparency and due diligence requirements 2-Organizing periodic meetings and providing periodic program updates that include raising red flags through dedicated ERD and SMT leadership meetings to address. 3-Ensuring quality information management through monthly BVA meetings and updating internal organization documents and grant management tools, including coordination and preparation of documents and files for audits in coordination with the financial team. Managing and developing employees:

1-Conduct a capacity / training needs assessment and identify areas for further capacity development in line with project needs.

2-Ensuring gender mainstreaming and conflict-sensitive programming within the project and monitoring interventions that address gender and conflict issues. In particular, to promote the full and equal participation of women in all aspects of work and to ensure that the organization's program is an opportunity for peacemaking, not a division of society. 3-Ensure frequent effective communication and feedback with the team. 4-Staff development in line with the identified strategic gaps and areas. Program quality and impact assessment:

1-To playing an active and practical role in assessing the impact and changing trends, providing advice on appropriate interventions and implementation when necessary and reviewing them regularly against expectations and action plans to enable integrated planning. 2- Knowing the new impact assessment methodologies and considering applying these methodologies in the ERD project.

Qualifications:

1- At least 12 years of experience working with international NGOs, as well as direct experience in managing livelihood programs for refugees.

2- The ability to handle projects, which includes project design, knowledge in proposal development, budget preparation, expenditure tracking, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting. 3- Previous experience in a similar administrative position. Managing budgets and stakeholder relationships, motivating and overseeing team efforts in complex and demanding environments; Including playing a meaningful role in writing and submitting reports to donor institutions or leading such reports;

Dedication to expanded programs that support the full participation of individuals regardless of gender, disability status, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other marginalized position.

4- Ensure that livelihoods projects are compatible with contextual dynamics and strategic action plans for the sector.

5- My experience has proven that it explores, addresses and strengthens partnerships with a focus on partnerships of the private sector, local NGOs and government. 6- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills - Creative thinker 7- Experience developing and leading trainings, workshops, evaluations, etc. 8- The ability to build a team environment and coordinate with other departments that are good at managing time, prioritizing tasks and responding effectively to requests. 9- Excellent communication skills (Arabic language), (English language), interpersonal skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
