● Senior Crew Scheduler at Air Transport International, Wilmington, OH

April 2018 – September 2020.

Responsible for airline pilot and flight attendant compliance with federal aviation regulations and for company compliance with the pilots' and flight attendants' respective collective bargaining agreements and related complex problem solving. At the time I left we employed approximately 500 pilots and 50 flight attendants.

Planned crew utilization based on predicted staffing numbers and customer prioritization. Normal operations were approximately 60 flights per day and 1,800 flights per month. These numbers would increase during peak season (October-December) every year.

Took part in regular communication efforts with customers including Amazon, DHL, UPS, and the U.S. Army Materiel Command.

Regularly tasked with “coaching” and aiding in the growth of a green department through development of other crew schedulers. I started as part of a department of ten employees and finished with a department of almost twenty, seven of which I was directly responsible for training and developing during my time there.

Accountable for justification of all scheduling related crew expenses including travel costs, various forms of crew compensation, and operational expenses.

Formed relationships across many departments within the company in an effort to maintain lines of communication branching through the entire organization.

Coordinated crew travel visas with international authorities and relevant departments in the company. This included getting crews into and out of Australia (New South Whales and Northern Territory), Hong Kong, the Marshall Islands and multiple U.S. Territories as new restrictions were imposed due to COVID over the course of 2020.

Integral part of the COVID response team throughout 2020.
