A highly knowledgeable and motivated individual who is seeking a new challenging career with considerable working experience in various office environments. I am a hardworking individual who strives to achieve the best in all areas, and I am always eager to learn new skills and advance my career. I work well in teams, but also independently. In my current role, I am responsible for providing administrative support and managing internal and external relations. In this role, I was responsible for running and coordinating the day to day administrative duties by being the first point of contact for staff and visitors, sorting and recording incoming and outgoing mail, Managing the document centre, scheduling meetings and taking minutes, to mention but a few.

Demonstrated excellent customer service by making follow-up calls and getting feedback from clients regarding the services offered in a bid to make the necessary improvements if need be. As a result, the organisation’s image in the business world improved which has helped to increase customer satisfaction.

Provide exceptional support to managers and co- workers through providing effective communication with professionalism hence brought about timely acknowledgement and response to emails and documents. Ultimately, there was effective flow of information in the organisation.

Influenced timely delivery of goods and services by implementing new procedures and administrative systems which facilitated the smooth operation and increased efficiency at the premises.

Prepared requisitions for goods and services which ensured that the quality of goods delivered was of according to specification and in the right quantity and on time. This has helped to see to it that there are no shortages registered.

Track communication including official mail and procurement documents within the office by ensuring that the right information is given to those it is directed to.This has contributed towards effective communication within the office such that employees know what to do and when to do it.

Being an oil company dealing in a couple of hazardous products I organized health and safety meetings weekly and made ensured that employees reported near misses weekly. This helped to prevent health hazards and address those issues that would lead to health risks. Hence safety and health of employees maintained.

Scheduled appointments, maintained the calendar and allot time and schedules for different personnel in addition to maintaining diaries/files and other records as required. This ultimately increased on office organization and efficiency.

Assisted in recruiting and training of staff (guards) by ensuring that they meet the necessary qualifications in a bid to reduce on staff turnover. This helped reduce the monthly staff (guards) desertion by 50 percent.

Organized for trainings and workshops per calendar programs by carrying out earlier bookings, purchasing stationery as well as coordinating the entire flow of events. As a result, workshops and trainings were successfully carried as planned which contributes to the achievement of set goals.

Provided courteous frontline services to ensure effective operation of the switchboard so as to enhance the good image of the field office and as a result, all the staff are able to be facilitated with the required necessities and on time.

Introduced workout after 5pm which was a success because all employees embraced including the executive director. This encouraged team work indirectly and also helped people improve their mental and physical health. This helped to improve the employees productivity greatly hence completing tasks on time,
