My executive career has been with organizations managing the accounting and finance for combined or consolidated groups of companies. I have been involved with performing due diligence for three different acquisition opportunities, prepared the offer calculation for two acquisitions, restated the valuation of several other acquisitions after being hired, corrected the accounting records for previous mergers. With over 13 years in service type companies ranging in size from

$3 million to $100 million. These organizations include physician, insurance services, construction management, ambulance

& medical transportation, fire extinguisher & equipment, engineering, non-profit, governmental services, technical education training, trash collection, hauling, landfill management, wholesale distribution, retail stores, restaurant, sustainable restaurant supplies & software development. My career also includes over 19 years with manufacturing companies ranging in size from $10 million to $500 million. These companies were associated with consumer electronics, governmental, chemicals, eco-friendly solvents, auto parts suppliers, machine shop fabrication for auto, military, railroad, aerospace & others, DIY home improvement products & laminated wood products. I also have 6 years working in construction for companies ranging from $20 million to $200 million. These include companies involved in commercial buildings, property development, shopping center, stores & office buildings, water treatment facilities, landfill construction

& asbestos abatement.

WORK EXPERIENCES

CFO / Corporate Controller Onyx Distribution & Service, Chicago, IL 2016 – Present Responsible for management of office processes in multiple locations, preparing consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP, preparing multiple state payroll tax reports, multiple state sales tax reports, annual workers compensation audits, monthly account reconciliations, weekly cash flow forecasting, maintaining banking relations, month-end close. I am also responsible for human resources, payroll, accounts payable, inventory, product costing, commission calculations, fixed asset tracking and depreciation, accounts receivable and collections

Accomplishment:

Implemented NetSuite ERP System for 4 separate companies at the same time

Designed & Streamlined the cash flow forecasting and report process with daily viewing

Implemented a commission system for sales personnel based on margin

Reduced bad debt expenses by implementing NetSuite’s credit hold process, added staff in collections
