WORK HISTORY

Founder and Vice President of Operations, GLOBALSCI (Startup Company) 2012 to Present

Developed a company that uses subject matter experts (SME’s) to analyze, source and deliver newly developed underwater security solutions for global customers. Created marketing strategies, identified customers, designed, engineered, and manufacturing options. Set strategic plans to capture start-up funding and developed a complete business development strategy.

Developed global business opportunities that can open door to $50M in revenues. Analyzed and found development of a new product had a great potential to deliver extreme financial returns. Set a comprehensive business plan that defined the opportunity of underwater security as a business. Developed plan and am seeking a financial partner that can bring forward finances needed launch product into market.

Established a unique underwater security process, worth millions. Proved ROV underwater security was viable for governmental agencies, cruise lines, oil and gas, waterfront properties and commercial companies. Revealed a possible revenue stream of $500M annually. Saved $40K in unnecessary shipping costs. Capital equipment not inspected prior to delivery. Projects were delayed because equipment was not inspected, and units were returned for corrective actions. Gained management approval to inspect equipment. Eliminated quality issues. The more inspections were used, the more money was saved. Ended unnecessary re-shipping of equipment.

Contract Manager/Senior Buyer, KBR 2005 to 2008

Managed the procurement of machinery, construction supplies and building materials for the U.S. Army in Kuwait and Iraq. Provided cost-effective purchase oversight of the cost-effective purchase of $120M in equipment, services, rental, repair, and materials secured through contracts. Complied with DOD standards and FAR regulations. Managed $40M DOD contract for subcontract labor, equipment rental and repair services. Controlled $40M budget.

Provided production solution that won $50M contract. Analyzed production on the specified $3M machine. Determined longevity of using a cast iron rolling machine exceeded the specified unit. Had unit re-specified. Sourced, secured and set production methods. Gained approval and won contract.

Rapidly became key purchasing agent in the unit. Tasked to increase the procurement of products. Created Personal Procurement Templates to enable the quick and efficient purchasing of commodities and services. Procurement Manager, BMW

Senior procurement manager of capital equipment used for the manufacturing of high-quality automotive bodies. Analyzed, controlled RFP’s, and secured robotic welding to provide assembly line productivity and quality excellence. Supervised up to 30 employees, and controlled budgets of $90M.

Established regulation and production solution to enable BMW to sell cars in the United States. Identified, communicated, and overcame safety, regulation, and installation problems. Enabled company to install equipment in the USA, saved $7M over the years.

Created elevated floor space above the manufacturing area to support equipment, saved $725K. During factory startup, allotment of space for equipment was not sufficient. Analyzed issue and utilized space in foundation pits below the main floor.

Procurement Manager, ATK

Key manager in the sourcing, acquisition, installation and troubleshooting of capital manufacturing equipment for the production of military ammunition and missile nosecones. Determined the best possible equipment to meet demanding production accuracy requirements. Met U.S. government procurement protocols, supervised 100+ employees, and controlled a $30M budget.

Salvaged critical project from failure, saved millions in revenue. Program was stopped dead with loss of relationship between ATK and a sole source production machine supplier. Sourced new supplier and improved their machine to have it fit ATK manufacturing process. Won multi-million dollar government project.

Captured contract worth $50M. Developed plan to use older mill to successfully bid on a contract. Retrofitted new controls and safety features. Developed a bid that used cheaper than expected capital equipment. Saved $3M in equipment purchase and enabled company to win the bid.

Secured superior logistics solution to ship $7M in equipment. Equipment delays would cost over $250K. Obtained approval to ship under proper insurance and delivery protection. Placed blanket order from superior heavy equipment shipping company. Equipment arrived on time and under budget.
