To build, validate and update assembly work instructions using technical inputs and generate BOM and route in SAP database.

PROJECTS DETAILS:

A220/ C-Series Assembly Methods:-

Client: Stelia Aerospace (Previously Bombardier Aerospace, Montreal/ Mirabel, Quebec Province- Canada).

Worked on structures for Cockpit, Forward fuselage, Aft Fuselage Assembly and Doors.

Currently working in the validation and approval for the workbooks for the Final Assembly Line (FAL) of the A220 aircraft in Mirabel, Quebec Province- Canada.

Worked on many System Installations including MIP, Various Hydraulic systems, Blanket installations etc.

Electrical Harness installations. (i.e., Routing Wires, Clamping, installation of Electrical brackets, connectors, Ground Studs, Ground Modules and other components).

Creation of Condition of Supply (COS) documents.

Extraction, Analysis and reconciliation of BOM using SAP- PP (i.e., ABCL).

Calculation of the total Assembly Process time for each workbook.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

General understanding and familiarization of engineering practices and related technical publications.

Assist in investigation and resolution of manufacturing related issues.

Study of Assembly and detail drawings in depth.

Build assembly sequence in concurrence to drawing and client specifications. Creation of VWI (Visual Work Instruction) using the following software tools:-

3DVia Composer/ Catia Composer/ MS package – To create VWI of Structural assembly with built-up sequence.

CATIA V5-R21 – to import & convert to SMG file.

BOM creation in SAP (PP).

Creation of FAI sheets for each assembly manuals for quality department.

Standard Time Calculation for all Assembly Processes.

Creation of Condition of Supply (COS) document for detail parts, Sub-Assemblies and Assemblies in Catia/ Enovia.

Creation of Mod Notices for experimental & change management team.

Peer QC and Validation of Assembly Process Sheets.

Interaction with the Technical SPOC at Onsite location to update the status / Queries / action points.

Checking for configuration changes which takes place as per engineering drawing changes.

MANAGEMENT:

Is responsible for handling a team of 10 people mainly for file assignment to both the execution and validation teams and ensuring the files are delivered on time with quality.

Is responsible in clarifying the inputs and clearing queries at offshore itself and explaining the same to the team.

Is responsible for maintaining the KPI of the team as well as ensuring that there is no slippage in the FTR or OTD of all deliveries.

Is the SPOC for all technical data regarding the team and is the front for all the quality checks / risk assessment and audits of the team.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Has moved on from execution stage to Methods Validation within a short time with the Signing authority from the client.

Currently moving from methods sign off to Quality sign off.

Has received the “Best Team” and “Pat on Back” award multiple times for ensuring quality deliveries on time.
