Along with the designs, sheet metal was utilized as a Gas Seal to seal enclosures to prevent gas leakage. Knowledge of AWS standards was very important in this design due to the necessity of all welds being Gas Tight. AutoCAD 2006 (2-D & 3-D Modeling), SolidWorks 3-D and various proprietary programs were utilized in conjunction with MS Office. After completed layout, PMO'S were written with B&W software for material procurement. In many cases, due to lead time involved on the contracts, a material take-off needed to be done prior to beginning design of the contract and the PMO'S were written well before design was started to ensure the materials were in the shop ahead of manufacturing dates. Completed all Solid works Training Courses and was awarded Certificate of Completion.
