Mechanical Site Engineer – 2012 March to 2013 April

Duties and Responsibilities

Analyse project documents and specifications to prepare accurate and efficient materials on all project stages and project related works.

Preparation, execution and monitoring, testing and commissioning of all Mechanical systems like Plumbing and Drainage, HVAC and Firefighting system as per compliance with the plan, approved shop drawings, specification authority standards and schedules.

Prepare the Mechanical shop drawings and MEP coordination drawings based on Design / IFC drawings, other services shop drawings as per Authority requirements and Standards.

Check the Mechanical BOQ as per Design drawings, specifications and contract documents.

Guiding and reviewing the approved contract documents and specifications, making modifications and recommending alternatives as needed.

Ensure compliance with safety requirements and standard procedures.

Maintaining the Documentation Procedures and correspondences.

Investigate problems and recommend solutions.

Make engineering calculations in connection with field and office assignments.

Coordinating and controlling the activities of work crews and subcontractors.

Utilize, monitor & maintain project schedules, drawings, specifications, daily tasks.

Checking the progress of the work at sites as per program. Significant Highlights
