Managing products and goods for major client accounts; providing cost effective solutions to their business needs and focusing on client retention and satisfaction

Initiating and executing methods & best practices related to the systems and process that supported smooth overall functioning; supervising Logistics Functions in accordance to client specific SOPs

Planning and strategizing logistics operations as per customer’s requirements and sharing the details with operations team for executing the same; suggesting suitable vehicles as per requirement, ensuring on-time placement of vehicle and monitoring ETA as committed

Preparing budgets for the regular and special projects and getting approvals for the same from management; undertaking innovative techniques for budget

Surveying the routes before quotations and before vehicle movement; providing route details and escalating issues to client in case of hurdles; providing Route Risk Maps to drivers and tracking vehicles by GPS

Guiding Tools Department about loads and ensuring the crews use the PPEs throughout the operations to avoid any accidents

Ensuring diesel and other resource availability for the vehicles; planning crews for the loading vehicles &double drivers for the critical/Urgent movement

Conducting Toolbox Meeting and explaining about the load and en- route criticality before vehicle dispatch from loading point

Coordinating with all Loading Point In-charges, Unloading Point In- charges and Escorts in route and managing issues for smooth operations

Managing incidents and monitoring speed limits and advising drivers for safe driving, maintain speed limits and avoiding drunken driving

Retrieving Service Centre Dispatching Vehicle Check List and En- route Check List, conducting surprise audits and implementing Kaizen and process improvements to ensure smooth and cost efficient operations

Providing training as per customer’s requirement & company norms to all the levels; preparing one point lesson, investigation reports, problem response report and circulating to all the levels

Following up Enroute breakdown and highlighting the same maintenance team; planning preventive maintenance of vehicles

Implementing regular trainings to the team members

Preparing monthly planning & operation reports for review to management
