Responsibilities

My recent office duties have included responsibility of Internal Audits, Co-ordinate and comply with procedures and policies in accordance with the ISO9001 and OSHA 18001, conduct training to new starts, with HSEQ Induction, conduct regular safety inspection of Fire Extinguisher,Lifting Tools & Tackle,Hand and Power Tools,Full Body Harness,Ladders,Electric Cord / cables,Vehicles (Cranes, Forklift, etc. tours in all areas of responsibility to ensure safety procedures are implemented as set out in the HSE site plan.

Ensure that standards are meeting all safety requirements of local authorities and safety management system.

Internal Audits as Lead Auditor.

Meeting with Clients for discussing HSE issues and closing out them.

Risk Assessment Reviews for Common Operations.

Impart knowledge of all safe work practices to workers and co-workers.

Ensure appropriate company SHEQ standards are updated for the sites and reflect current requirements

Develop and Implement policy, standards, guidelines and best practice and to help to ensure compliance with regulations and Company standards.

HSEQ Inductions for all new personnel (workers, visitors, contractors etc.)

Co- ordinate programs to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses and accidents.

Conduct Regular Tool Box Meetings and Coordinate safety activities and ensure implementation of safety activities throughout organization.

Prepare drill schedule and conduct mock drills.

Ensure that all materials handled, stored and transported in a satisfactory manner.

Inspect/Monitor the environment for Noise, dust, fumes, hot & cold temperature, humidity, speed of the air, heat index, clarity of light, ventilation, etc...

Participate, where appropriate, in incident investigations and prepare reports with proposals for remedial actions.

Prepare safety flash for sharing knowledge, learning lessons and Improvements.

Completes daily activity reports and the actions taken on the identified problems/issues, and refers to higher authority for resolution as needed.

Advise further improvements in the existing working methods.

Stop all unsafe conditions/practices and takes corrective actions where possible.
