AIMS Fuel Delivery Application Jan. 2021 - May. 2021 Native Android Application University Capstone Project

● Developed a native android application for truck drivers at AIMS Inc. for sending trip information to truck drivers, collect bill of lading, and providevoice navigation to a trip destination

● Implemented RESTful APIs to receive new trip information, periodically send bill of lading information, and live location of the truck to/froma cloud dispatcher server

● Used SQLite database to persist application events and information updates locally in the device to feature offline capabilities

● Implemented TCP/IP like backoff algorithmto synchronize the persisted offline information which improved the battery consumption of the applicationby 30%, including a 40% reduced number of calls to the API.

● Leveraged the use of Model View View-Model architecture to write highly decoupled, maintainable, and reusable code.
