After a week of formal training at the New England Medical Center at Tufts University in Boston, MA, conducted a study of the carotid wall thickness in 150 patients with diabetes for the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP).
1993 - 1994
Following a training session at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., completed a similar study of the carotid wall thickness in 53 patients diagnosed with diabetes for the Diabetes Complication Control Trial (DCCT).
