Attending court and managing litigated claims.

oDrug and Alcohol program including Department of Transportation regulatory requirements (serve as SoCo System Lead), Fitness for Duty, and Employee Assistance Program mandatory employee referrals.

oDLOA Program including relationship with LTD benefit vendor (MetLife), to ensure program compliance with ADA, FMLA, and EEO requirements; includes facilitating the process with the employee, Labor, HR, and management.

oLead committees responsible for Company and Southern system wide program development to maintain compliance with regulatory and company requirements, as well as multiple past and ongoing compliance projects.

SOUTHERN NUCLEAR, Birmingham, AL July 2009 – July 2014

Concerns & Compliance Coordinator (Team Lead) – Corporate

Joined the SNC team to manage and perform investigations relative to the Southern Nuclear Compliance and Concerns programs. Reported to senior management on concerns and compliance-related metrics, statistics and activities. Wrote and maintained corporate policies and guidelines. Provided compliance information for potential disclosure in financial statement filings. Assisted the Compliance and Concerns Program Manager/Director in coordinating and administering compliance initiatives and activities. Managed multiple compliance and concerns projects outside the scope of defined duties.
