On a monthly basis SD users is managing over 100 individual form submissions from different divisions. These forms are then input manually into a master excel document wherein they maintains the data for quarterly reports. This project is a solution to stream line this process and standardize the division’s input from across all divisions. The Spend Diversity solution is designed to create input form that the divisions can enter their minority supplier values. The divisions will be able to view their previous entries as well as a YTD Report From the administrator’s view will be able to output all the collected form data in a single master data output designed to utilize her existing pivot tables. and will also be able to maintain a master supplier list as well as a master customer list. Also will need to be able to change a specific division entry at will.

The system will also need to be able to remind those on the 1st of the month that data has yet to be submitted.

Proposal Web was developed for HP by ComputerWelt in Germany. This has been successfully deployed in HP for over 8 years. ProposalWeb is a powerful tool suite that automates the assembly of proposal-ready documents into complete and compelling customer proposals. Which is used worldwide by: - HP Sales reps, The HP pre-sales Community, HP proposal bid teams and HP Channel Partners. Proposal Web is structured around country and region-specific portals with localized and translated content. Proposal Web offers content spanning all HP Business Units like TSG, PSG and IPG. This content addresses HP products, services, solutions and corporate and general Information. Now as we know that EDS is an HP Company. So the current EDS tools, MOSS 2007 are need to be migrate with the current Proposal Web as the BRD (Business Requirement Document).

For the EDS migration with the Proposal Web I analysis the whole current Proposal Web and get the actual steps to do for complete the actual requirements. These requirements are clarify with the business call. As the my requirements I need to display the subgroup under the groups for advance search functionality, completing the whole search functionality with the phrases, separators etc. and provide the permissions for access the document and the contents of the EDS and also work the maximum part of the content manager in the proposal. And maintaining the EmailPoller service provided by the Proposal web.
