Brief introduction

I am an orthopaedic surgeon with more than 25 years of experience in the medical field, 16 years of these spent as a specialist orthopaedic surgeon. In a career that includes working in different cultures and atmospheres, I have worked with almost every medical case there is – as Iraq has been a war field more than once during the past two decades, I have had the opportunity to deal with traumatic cases and injuries that are both directly and indirectly connected to warfare, and my employment in Sweden has allowed me to specialise in working with hip and knee joints, the most common case of surgery in that country. As a result, I have good experience in working with both trauma and orthopaedics.
