GENERAL WORK SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Perform site inspections to ensure the successful jobs including Material verification, Fit-up, Welding and testing during fabrication, Storage and Delivery.

•Monitor status and quality of all welding items from delivery through fabrication and Installation.

•Ensure all welding examinations are conducted as required on fabrication drawings and per specification and code requirements.

•Ensure all procedure, isometric drawing, P&ID follow project requirement. All piping material such us pipe grade, flange, stud, nut and gasket is as per client requirement. Ensure installation and testing as per procedure and all activities is recorded

•Assist Contractor to ensure understanding / interpretation of job requirements, be pro-active and guide whenever needed to minimize rework.

•Actively participate to produce the Quality Surveillance Plan and execute the surveillances in accordance to the plan. Propose improvements and reporting through the correct surveillance report forms and log format.

•Monitor and inspect field construction activities on a day to day basis to ensure design requirements are met in compliance with drawings, specification, and applicable codes. Ensure adequate inspection is completed by the Contractor’s QC departments. Recommend and participate in resolution of corrective action and monitor completion of action for identified non-conformances and deficiencies.

•Bring observed non-conformances to the attention of the proper team member.

•Inspect and monitor on a day to day basis the welding preparation, during welding and after welding, also actively contribute on punch-out work for all welding process.

•Ensure daily inspection logs and documentation are properly performed and registered.

•Ensure data sheets are available and understood by operators.

Coordinate the QC activities during construction at Contractor yard and during Offshore Hook-up.

Participate in the establishment and implementation of a suitable Audit Program to cover Contractor and Subcontractors yards main critical processes.

Manage all Company quality inspections related to material, welding, NDT and coating/painting activities.

Review and approved the material certificates.

Ensure that material, welding and NDT traceability system is maintained throughout the fabrication process.

Ensure that there is no backlog for inspection performance, reporting and data base update.

Review and approved the different inspection reports issued by the Contractor.
