●Desk head responsible for managing Prudential Financials’ three directly issued commercial paper programs.

●Effectively develop and maintain commercial paper pricing strategies that take advantage of market opportunities to achieve low-cost short-term financing that are at or through the Federal Reserve’s benchmark rates.

●Develop and manage liquidity guidelines that offer the appropriate amount of funding for insurance company subsidiaries and holding company affiliates, evaluating cost, leverage, and rating agency constraints.

●Monitor daily the capital market, interest rate and liquidity environment to determine overall impact on all three programs from a liquidity and cost perspective.

●Daily monitoring and management of various cash flow and risk reports for all three commercial paper programs as well as PICA’s General Account and PFI investment portfolios.

●Manage the intercompany loan portfolio in order to fund subsidiaries in an appropriate manner and provide efficient deployment of holding company liquidity.

●Provide regularly to senior management updates on liquidity positions for all three commercial paper programs, intercompany funding portfolio and holding company investment portfolio.

●Develop strategies for the investment of firm wide excess cash that provide the appropriate mix of capital preservation, liquidity and yield that fall within investment policy guidelines.

●Oversee the marketing process which includes the management of significant direct buy side institutional relationships and commercial and investment banking relationships as well as the management of several junior investment and operation associates.

●Responsible for leading a large diverse team that included multiple internal and external parties tasked with structuring and launching the currently second largest funding backed commercial paper program in the market. Pricoa Short Term Funding, LLC is a cash flow matched spread lending program that has conservatively added north of $7MM in earnings on an annual basis.

●Partnered with PGIM’s securities lending desk and Enterprise Risk Management to develop one of the industry’s first ever large-scale direct securities lending model in the market. The program has reduced overnight borrowing cost on average by 10 basis points and added $7MM -$8MM in earnings on an annual basis to the PICA General Account investment portfolio.

●Member of the team in Treasury responsible for the issuance of Prudential Financials’ long-term debt. This team develops strategy around pricing, market timing and communication, allocation of capital, leverage impacts and firm wide liquidity.
