Sr. Finance Manager Global Analytics and Reporting Mar 2020 – Jan 2021

Develop, maintain, manage and report using PowerBI Global Weekly Unit Case Sales, Monthly Key Brand Analytics, Category Performance, and Operating Expense Analytics.

Designing interactive reporting dashboards and analysis and provided directly to CEO, CFO, and the Leadership team directly to tablet devices for over $33B of system revenue.

Provide Ad-hoc analysis for critical reporting requirements and analysis due to COVID-19 including operating expense analytics for global operations for performance against plan, performance against rolling estimates, headcount analytics, vendor spend analytics and detailed travel analysis.

Sr. Finance Manager Associate Services 2017 – 2020

Prepared the annual business plan and rolling estimates for Associate Services totaling over $750M and managed month end close process, monitoring monthly results, preparing variance reports, monthly charge-outs, and led the reclassification of restructuring related expenses to one-time clearing account. Financial Services Manager III - Product Commercialization 2009 - 2011

Led 8 direct reports, a complete P&L and balance sheet for POS transactions including inventory, AP, AR, and accruals. Assisted AP and AR to close out JDE balances and to resolve approximately $2M in open AR issues.

Provided finance support for a client who changed the procurement and fulfillment method of over 100,000 POS orders and $50M annually and led the change in financial processes that eliminated legacy interfaces providing users with an “Amazon” like shopping experience.

Created a direct feed from the shopping site into SAP AP and GL leading to eliminating JDE operating system and creating over $30M in key operating cash flow for CCNA over a 5-year period.

Oversight in $50M in coupon expense management included increased controls and improved analytical reporting for both bottlers and North America Marketing.

Provided financial management of $13M for a Packaging and Outlet Presentation Excellence client group worked as a lead participant in contract negotiations that led to over $3M in savings.

Led 2 direct reports, for a business with a $100M profit and loss statement, approximately $20M of balance sheet accounts, the annual business plan, and the monthly rolling estimate.

Monitored daily inventory, AP, and COGS feeds from a 3rd party service provider into the SAP general ledger and sub-ledger. Identified issues, analyzed root cause, and implemented solutions.

Created process mapping for all operational processes that initialize financial transactions and in doing so identified GAAP issues and developed solutions.

Acuity Brands - Conyers, GA 2003 – 2006

Controller Cost Management

Managed 3 accounting associates, set up financial systems for 2 new production facilities located in Mexico that produced $200M of industrial and home lighting products annually, and $30M of inventory.

Worked with the facility management to plan headcount to meet production requirements, bill of material updates, oversight of vendor payments, internal transfer pricing and general facility accounting operations.

Accountable for the annual budget and rolling estimate overall close process and variance analysis including PPV, MUV, Direct Indirect Labor Variances and Overhead variances.
