Northern Area Projects, Saudi Aramco (KSA) for the last 16 years Lead Project Engineer (Jan 2010 to 2018) on Juaymah Gas line upgrade Project, (Installing 24” line Gas pipe, alternative line to existing from the knockout Drum to existing Boilers including new 24” & 30” valves, hot-tapping & knockout drum work) to Hasbah & Arabia Project and Khursaniyah Project Division & on Upgrade Fire Protection System project at Ras Tanura Refinery with RTR & TR Projects Division.

Project Controls Engineer (Jan 2006 to Dec 2009) on projects with NAOO & BG’ Divisions and from (Dec 2000 to Dec 2005) on projects with Central Western Region, Jeddah/ Yanbu Projects Division. During my above work, I was involved in managing all project(s) activities; my responsibility was covering the followings: projects planning and execution, from early stage planning to construction including bidding process; assigning Manpower, dealing with financial matters, cost control, contracts administration, Project Materials Procurement, Pre-commissioning & Commissioning of the project(s) invoicing, change orders, documents control, project(s) as well as updated reports (from BISRs, MPUs, reviewing business Plan, operating plan, accountability report, financial, NDEs, etc..), review project manpower & resources management requirements.

California & New Orleans, USA

Project Controls Manager/Engineer, CMTS Inc. USA (April 99 to November 00). I) I started work on the West Basin Intermodal Facility Construction at Los Angeles Port. II) LAX Parking Structure # 6, including 4 levels huge parking garage at LAX. Project comprising Removal/relocation of utilities and Post-Tension structures, construction of sewer, storm drain, water and compressed air systems, construction of electrical facilities, concrete pavement, construction of railroad tracks, and signalization. I have worked on all project execution phases; a $35 million Inter-modal facility and Parking Structure project. Project Controls Manager, Parsons Infrastructure & Technology Group Inc USA. (December 1997 to March 99) “Orleans Parish Schools Project – Capital Improvement Program in New Orleans, Responsible for all aspects of project execution phases for a $175 million Schools Project comprising all Design phases, major repairs, renovation of 120 Schools in all different areas of New Orleans parish and the Construction of two new Schools. Duties included development of strategic/execution plan and implementing all project cost saving & value Engineering items, Supervising Project Engineering staff, review and optimize project planning/CPM scheduling, spending cost Vs performance evaluation. Administer and forecast project cash-flow, expenditures & committed cost. Verify/process (A/E and Contractors) payment requests, prepare and issue project monthly progress report. Review and analyze the design professional’s cost estimates and report to the owner cost of various designs/construction alternatives.

Project Controls Manager, with CMTS, INC. Construction Management Technical Services, USA. (February 1995 – November 1997) “Arrowhead Regional Medical Center” in San Bernardino. Responsible for all project engineering deliverables, including project activities execution plan, project elements cost breakdown, planning/scheduling, and estimating on a Project for a 375 beds, 950,000 square feet facility with an overall Construction Cost of $300 million. The project calls for extensive on site infrastructure to support this medical facility, which comprises several buildings. Nursing tower, Diagnostic & technical bldg., Clinics, Mental Health Bldg. and Central Plant that houses the generators, boilers, and chillers for the entire site. Duties included supervision of staff, ensure good planning and maintaining master records of all field changes. Ensure the submittals of all contractors’deliverables. Verify all change orders making sure are kept to minimum, review all constructability studies, project schedule (primavera and Suretrack software), verify & coordinate project long lead items (review vendors’ quotations), POs, identify project support. Develop and forecast project cash flow expenditures, man-hours, verify CPM delay analysis, with cost and schedule impacts. Process RFIs, CPRs, and change orders, prepare and issue monthly progress report. Interfacing with clients, consultants, and field superintendent.

Project Controls Engineer, with CMTS, INC. Construction Management Technical Services, USA (May 1994 - January 1995) “California State University Earthquake Recovery” Project in Northridge. Responsible for all project Engineering functions of $450 million University Campus Earthquake Recovery Project. Comprising repairs, renovations, Structural Reinforcement, and new Construction of many buildings: Business Administration School, School of Education, Sierra Tower, Engineering Bldg., and the Student Housing Project. Duties included Supervision of four Project staff. Construction planning with available resources, WBS/Resources and cost-loaded CPM scheduling using primavera, ensure project cost control using finance system and excel, project cost analysis/reporting, monitoring spending, verify the daily construction progress and measure performance, coordinate with the Architect/Engineering firms the design changes.

Project Controls Engineer, Magnetek Company, Anaheim CA., USA (March 1993 – March 1994) Responsible for construction of all project phases including planning and Construction of $28 Million Contract in Chicago O’ hare Airport terminal 5 and $32Million Contract at Denver Airport. Work included integrated bridge gates, walkways, preconditioning air, air handle units, foundation-structural and equipment. Duties included coordinate with contractor all CPM work activities, Long lead items, all deliverables. Ensure the progress & completion all scheduled within approved budget. Update cash flow forecasts, assisting in all design review meetings, conduct weekly progress review meetings with the contractor. Coordinate with clients, engineering disciplines, consultants, and contractors, verifying/checking changes cost estimates and project services/agreements committed cost.

Estimator, The Ralph M. Parsons Co., Pasadena, CA, USA (January 1990 - November 1992) Responsible for Estimating, value engineering, verifying submittals on several Multimillion Dollars Refineries and Gas plant Projects for Mobil, Aramco, Shell Companies. Project Comprises Expansion, revamp, and new plants included all civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation’s, and electrical work. I also worked on $200 Million Hyperion wastewater treatment plant Project. Duties included conceptual and detailed cost estimates using (Timberline, Lotus 123), checking/negotiating the contractor changes estimate, review shop drawing, project coordination with the contractor and clients EDUCATION
