FIELD ENGINEER

Project Handled - OPG POWER GENERATION LIMITED. (1X 180MW, 3X 80 MW) AND IL&FS TAMIL NADU POWER COMPANY PVT LTD.

Responsible for Field observation & monitoring of BOILER & TURBINE and its auxiliary equipment’s as day to day basis

•Coal Fired Boiler, Cold and Hot Start up, Turbine Roll up, Generator system, Synchronization

•Responsible for handling normal plant operations including Start-ups, shut-downs & inspection of any equipment abnormality.

•Responsible for Field observation & monitoring of compressors (elgi, atlas), fly ash and wet ash conveying system.

•Responsible for Field observation & monitoring Esp. field controller (EPIC).

•Shut down time BOILER CIRCULATING PUMP (BCP) Flushing.

•H.P and Reymont Bowl Mill (XRP 803), ID, FD, SA, PA, Scanner fan isolation and Normalization.

•Responsible for Field observation & monitoring APH(Tri sector and bi sector), guide bearing and support bearing system.

•Responsible for initial filling boiler drum.

•Soot Blowing operation as per Schedule. (Wall Blowers, Long Retractable Blowers)

•Responsible for optimizing plant operating parameters for efficiency and spotting problems in the incipient stage.

•Safe isolations of equipment’s for PTW & their restoration

•Operation, trouble shooting and taking actions to run the equipment in steady trend on continuous basis.

•Annual Shutdown and over hauling activities like Boiler washing, SADC Checking and valve operation checking, AIR leak test Hydro test, etc.

•Shift process review, manual event logging & maintaining all logs.
