CAREER PROFILE:
A hands-on and results driven Mining Engineer with 10+ years’ experience in Mine planning for drilling, blasting and explosives application. Highly skilled in blast designing, planning, explosives application, monitoring and reporting on all drill and blast activities. Proficient in drill and blast mine to mill optimization in terms of cost and fragmentation. Experience in the application of QAQC in the drill and blast operations. I have experience in training of drill and blast engineers and blasting offices on safe and efficient blasting methods andmagazines management. Using a self-developed software (image attached) I conducted an optimization programme for Nchanga open pit which enabled the mine to achieve a 10% cost reduction.
