Directs, develops, and oversees the general health and safety policies and procedures of the organization.

Ensures the workplace follows OSHA and other state, local, or industry specific regulations and that periodic safety audits are conducted.

Facility Construction Contract Manager AECOM / URS Corporation - Richmond, VA 2009 to June 2018

Repeatedly promoted and taking on progressively more responsibility during 17-year tenure with AECOM Corp, culminating in current responsibility for Safety Management & managing facility construction projects for the client at the Center for Research & Technology facility.

I was promoted into the position of Facility Construction Contract Manager at Altria's SOJ facilities.

My first assignment was to manage the day to day operations of the maintenance of a 950,000 sq. ft. warehouse facility that had been left in a state of disrepair from the previous building owner.

This required managing multiple projects as well day to day maintenance of the facility to maintain functional operation.

My current role is to manage contracted facilities work at the client's research and technology facility. These duties would include management of the housekeeping contractor, window washing, and maintenance & construction repairs beyond the scope of daily maintenance work.

My work is split between the Facility Construction Contract Manager Position as well as the Safety Manager position

I was tasked with managing construction projects for the client, this position was expanded into the Facility Construction Contracts Manager position that I was promoted into.

Plant Operator AECOM / URS Corporation 2002 to 2003

I started my career with AECOM as a Central Utility Plant Operator at the Micron Technology site.

I started there as a plant operator, operating the boiler and chiller system, performing preventative maintenance on the equipment.

I was also tasked with operation of the industrial wastewater system during after hour times.

As well as other chemical treatment areas around the facility that is used in the manufacturing of computer chips.

Served as Paint Shop Manager, handled contracted facility services, functioned as primary liaison to customers and ensured a consistently positive customer experience.
